Kaneen’s experience with water issues dates back to 1987 when the firm worked to successfully defeat the All Recharge Initiative on the City’s ballot and allow the construction of the Hayden/Udall Water Treatment Facility. In the early 1990’s, Kaneen provided communication and research services, and following the return of all customers to the use of groundwater, Kaneen assisted with strategies and processes for positioning the utility and effectively communicating with its customers.
Tucson Water now has an image as a reliable, responsible, and professional agency and is among the most respected public water providers in the nation. Kaneen’s experience with Tucson Water has given us an intimate understanding of how to approach complex political, community, and public policy issues, and the strategic process that will create a strong image for a public organization.
