Sun Tran
Sun Tran, an award winning regional public transportation system in the Tucson metropolitan area, provides more than 19 million passenger trips a year. Sun Tran operates 41 fixed routes with a fleet of 226 coaches, all wheel chair accessible and bike rack equipped. Since 2002, when Kaneen began working with Sun Tran, ridership has steadily increased. In 2005, Sun Tran was selected as America’s Best Transit System by the American Public Transportation Association. Kaneen worked in tandem with Sun Tran to earn the distinctive national award through spearheading a comprehensive On-Board Survey.
