Tucson Modern Streetcar
The City of Tucson plans to develop a 3.9 mile, high-capacity Modern Streetcar line that will connect the University of Arizona and the Arizona Health Sciences Center to the Downtown area. The Tucson Modern Streetcar project is estimated to cost approximately $150 million and will include 19 stations and seven streetcar vehicles. Kaneen has been involved in the public involvement component of the project – the major transit investment study for the Modern Streetcar – since it began in 2004.
