Liz Beamer
Community Outreach, Public Participation
Liz joined Kaneen Advertising & Public Relations in June 2007 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in Journalism. In February 2008 she began working on the Grant Road Improvement Plan project, the largest project passed by the 2006 Regional Transportation Authority half-cent sales tax increase. She participates in the production and coordination of informational materials, mailings, data entry, and public meetings and workshops and has ongoing interaction with members of the public regarding the project.
Liz became Public Participation Coordinator in June 2008, a role she finds valuable in every project she works on.
In February 2009 Liz began working on the Counter Narcotics Alliance/Meth Free Alliance “Choose to Refuse” campaign. She has assisted in the production of five television public services announcements, coordinated a news conference to debut the PSAs and launch the campaign, coordinated the production of bus shelter posters and created and manages the Meth Free Alliance Facebook page. Liz finds working on this campaign to be an extremely rewarding experience that provides an important community message.
